Costa Coffee - East Dunbartonshire

I stopped in for a quick visit with friends. I had never been here before because we used to go to the M S cafe before it closed. I ordered the cheese and tomato toastie and it was terrible! There was no actual tomato, just tomato paste like on a pizza. At £4.00 per sandwich, this felt like a rip off. So, essentially, the cheese and tomato toastie was just tomato paste and cheese!

Lisa and Matthew! The staff at this restaurant are hands down the most impolite I have ever encountered ... steer clear of this establishment at all costs!

The staff at this restaurant were not very talkative. The manager, or whoever was in charge, appeared to be rude with an expressionless face and no personality. They did not engage in any conversation or show any friendliness. There were no other customers in line before me, yet they seemed uninterested in serving me. When I mentioned how a drink looked good, I was blatantly ignored by the manager and her colleague. Feeling ignored, I ended up speaking to the barista making my coffee instead. This experience was disappointing for someone who used to work at Costa Coffee, where customer service was always a priority. I would recommend that this restaurant improve their customer service and train their staff to be more polite and engaging. It is not the first time I have felt that the staff were indifferent and introverted. Additionally, when I asked the barista about a new drink, he simply responded with a brief "yeah," making me question if they were all NPC's.

The people working in the costa are nice, they are always busy, service is reasonable. My pet hate for this Costa is the fact the put the air conditioning up, full blast on cold, when you have a coffee is goes cold very fast due to this. Then hypothermia sets in and next minute your in the artic circle… this wasn’t just one visit either, every time, it’s exactly the same.

Very rude member of staff advised that 2 afults could not queue together despite being form the same household. Rude rude rude. Go to Yim Hortons nearby much better
