Happy Teriyaki Caldwell Blvd (nampa)

I've been there twice, and the owner has made a scene. not only to employees, but customers with nothing but respect. the first time I was not impressed. but was obliged to go back for a friend bday. eating was hard to eat and it wasn't just my order. none of us are satisfied there. even if the food was suitable for human consumption. I would never spend a dimming there after I experienced the unprofessional behavior of the owner. he should be ashamed and lost a lot of business due to his antik. to say we were disappointed, is an understatement.

I enjoy happy teriyaki at a number of their locations but the food was fabulous at this one extraordinarily fresh and the vegetables were crisp and perfect here. This has to be my favorite of all the locations I've dined at here in Boise so far. I'm going to have to make sure I hit this location a bunch more!

Great little restaurant for Chicken or Steak bowls. How can you not be happy here?! Update: 1/10/2022 I really enjoy this location. I probably go here once or twice a week. The food is always fresh and tasty. I normally get the chicken teriyaki with extra sauce. Lately I've been getting broccoli instead of the other veggies. The rice is always cooked perfectly and the chicken is moist and tasty. Parking: there are plenty of parking with spots large enough for trucks. Food: they have a decent size menu, and would like to try more, but can't get out of my rut of chicken teriyaki. The broccoli is steamed well. The rice is cooked perfectly and the chicken is cooked with the perfect amount of seasoning and moist. Service: always greeted with a smile and quick to help. After dropping off the food, they always check to make sure it's tasting ok. Facility: always clean and tables are cleared/cleaned quickly. I never use the bathroom, so I can't speak to this, but the rest of the restaurant is well maintained.

Friendly and helpful, the staff was great. As we stopped in spontaneously after walking the green belt, we were pleasantly surprised to find reasonable prices and hearty portions. We had the chicken teriyaki lunch platter with an upgrade to the fried rice. The food quality was a little above mediocre- probably deserving of a 3 1/2 star to be honest, but because of the staff, the quick service and the pricing, 4 stars it is! I would not hesitate to return, but having had many teriyaki meals, this food itself would not be the reason. Quick, convenient, and friendly service would be what would bring me back again :
