Eagle Diner

I drive from Avon to Eagle all the time to eat at the Diner. The food there is great and the staff are so friendly.

When in the Eagle area I have to stop at the Diner the food is great! I love the atmosphere. I wished we had something like it where I lived!

With multiple places to choose from in Eagle, the dinner gave all of us what we wanted. While not gourmet, it is truly a wonderful dinner, with traditional dinner food. The steak sandwich was surprisingly good, and everyone in the group (6) had something good to say about what they ordered. From the tall giant who seated us promptly, all staff was helpful, food was served quickly and hot, order was taken appropriately. We got all we expected and more!

Folks, a diner provides a large menu usually overlapping meals. Usually diner and lunch are served at all times and often breakfast is too. Not the case at the Eagle Diner. What kind of diner doesn't have a Greek salad? Waitress also was very lame. I left the restaurant thirsty...if I have an empty glass ask me to refill it. Oh, and the fries sucked worst fries ever.

While traveling, my family and I stopped here for a quick bite. Part of the family was visiting from Italy, so the American 50's icons were a real topic of conversation. We were surprised with the vegetarian items, as a typical diner doesn't have much of a selection. The food was good and the service was prompt. But what impressed me the most was the kind act of service from their management. I left a favorite sweater (hard-to-find light weight and perfect for restaurants) in the booth. He mailed it back to me in Florida with no postage bill and no expectation of compensation. Now that's customer service!
