BEWARE as of today 10/11/2022 there is a water pressure issue in this hotel. When brought to the owners attention he said “I was just made aware of this issue yesterday.” Well it would have been nice to at least be warned of the issue before checking in?. He runs and does something that temporarily fixes the issue. It took me an hour after trickling on and off water to take a shower this morning. I know others brought the matter to his attention as well and I didn’t even bother to yet again keep telling him this was a problem, because it was obvious this is something I would have to live with the night I stayed here. What really bothered me is the owner checked me out and didn’t even ask how the rest of my stay was. Just “checking out?” I was charged FULL PRICE for a room where a basic amenity was not even right. I was very anxious to one day have the opportunity to stay at this hotel. The staff seem very dedicated overall and I hope this issue is fixed soon. It is concerning that thus might still be an issue and people aren’t being told. It bothered me there was no apology or follow up when others in the hotel also had water issues. $175 down the drain could have had much better accommodations the first night of “off season” in the area. Words would be hard to find to truly describe how wonderful the BMI was for myself and family during our vacation. The rooms were clean, the staff was beyond outstanding and the property was visually well kept and scenic. Although they no longer operate their restaurant, the staff made culinary suggestions that revealed other fine gems to experience in the local area.
