Sun Tavern - DUXBURY

I love my new favorite restaurant in my new favorite neighborhood. The food and service are just as good as anywhere in Boston! The steaks are as good as any steakhouse in town, but not as pricey. The staff will make you feel like you're at a relative's house. The only thing I would change is to have slightly larger portion sizes. I go there all the time!

We had a blast at the oyster and beer night celebrating Father's Day with a group of ten at Sun Tavern! The ice-filled boat with Island Creek oysters and busy bartenders impressed us. The Laguntas beer options were fantastic and served in cute doggy Maurer Jars to take home. The house wine was also a hit. The Po-Junge Sandwiches, oysters Fritte, and other dishes were all delicious. Overall, it was a successful and enjoyable evening. Great job, guys!

Had my wedding at The Sun Tavern 24. Okay. They were so courteous for my husband and me as well as our guests! Deb was our server and she was very attentive to our needs and wishes. The food was excellent!!! Our evening was great and we cannot thank Deb and staff enough! I decided that last Saturday I went back and made reservations. Patricia was our server and she had room too! The food was great again! Thank you again for everything you have done for us!!! We will surely come back!!!

My Hubby and I have been here for years... We love the atmosphere... We never had a bad meal and the service is great. During our last visit we had the Sirloin Steak with garlic potatoes and he had the lambcuffs... highly recommended both.

We had a fantastic meal tonight at this restaurant! Our group of four were the last customers to leave at closing time. We savored every bite of our food and enjoyed every moment at the tavern. The meatloaf, chicken, scallops, and duck were all delicious.
