Bidrage med feedbackGreat outdoor space. Large patio area with bar seating and couches. I had the zin burger, because Zinfandel braised onions. They also let you order whatever temp you prefer on the meat, which is nice...but what's even nicer is that it came out as ordered. Our server was wonderful as were the...
I thought it was really good. Sat at the bar which was relatively empty and the service started off really slow and was going to have an impact on my review. It did improve and got a little friendlier, ironically as it got busier. The Ahi tuna burger was really good. It looked a little funny on that big plate all alone with no side dish but that 's probably more the over eating American in me not because I actually needed one. The zucchini fries my friend got were just a little 'soggy ' for lack of a better word, but decent as a FF alternative. The manager was fun and friendly and stopped and checked on us a couple of times.
Who cares about service, what about the beef!? The bun is perfect, the cheddar cheese was brilliant and the burger itself cooked exactly as it should have been, the way I ordered it. I didn't go crazy with the varieties offered, I like to get the basic and go from there and this did not disappoint. One of the best burgers I've ever had. Enjoy.
I ordered the regular Zinburger. Special sauce mayo turns the burger into a disgusting mess. Way to much sauce, the bun is good but it gets soggy quick. <br/ <br/ Next time I will pass on the mayo and special sauce. A good burger joint should not need all of that to dress up a good cut of beef. I did enjoy the banana foster milk shake. Service was quick (late Sunday evening).
User reviews. Zinburger just opened in early December 2013. We visited this last weekend early January 2014). It was a Saturday around 2 pm and the restaurant was very crowded. The atmosphere was new, clean and vibrant and a nice end to an afternoon of shopping at Southpoint. <br/ <br/ While waiting for a table, we sat at the bar. I had the Kunde cabernet sauvignon $8 a glass). The wine portion was good and on my second glass even a little better. Very nice flavor and body.<br/ <br/ Our table was ready exactly at the time that was estimated 20 minutes later). I had the turkey burger, my brother had the kobe burger and my mother had the regular burger the American, I think). Plus 2 orders of onion rings for the table. The burgers were all excellent. Mine was seasoned perfectly and the avacado was perfectly ripe. My brother's Kobe a higher quality of beef) with mushrooms was cooked to perfection medium) and also very tasty and fresh. The onion rings were absolutely perfect. The best onion rings I've had in years.<br/ <br/ Our waitress was energetic and cheerful.<br/ <br/ I would highly recommend Zinburger!
