India Gate - Durham

I must say I'm so ecstatic for a new Indian place in the OPEN area and finished with the construction!! The food is absolutely delicious, it is a reasonable price and they give you plenty of food. The atmosphere in the new location is comfortable, it is a ran of a few that absolutely sweet and friendly. I have no torments. It is an absolute stimulus and relief as it blows to the other Indian restaurants in the area like Tandoori, compared to their customer service and smaller portion sizes.

Nice to visit again after the new site! I think the food was better this time than I remember. Had the chicken tikka masala, malai kofta, and lamb corma: total five stars. General amount of rice with every duck, love it.

Open here on the first day at the new location. Once you go into you, you will be met with the delicious aroma of Punjabi cooking. Lunch is enormous, and a very good value for 14.00. The restaurant is very clean and the staff is very friendly. Even though this was their first day open and many people eat here, the waiter refilled my drink every few minutes. I'm very happy to bring my friends here soon.

I've eaten here many times and I've never been disappointed. I was there tonight. 10/10/2022 and was very shattered to find the place locked and empty. What happened?

Food has a fantastic depth of flavor! The freshness of ingredients and attention to detail is really impressive. The lunch Thali meals in particular are an amazing value for the price. Naan cooked to order, fresh and hot right out of the tandoor. A lovely variety of tastes and textures, and every component is clearly given real attention. Rice is often an afterthought but in this case perfectly fluffy and seasoned to perfection. And the portions are GENEROUS! I'm not a small guy, but a single lunch order at $11 is lunch AND dinner!
