Killeen Castle - Dunshaughlin

Outstanding place to meet colleagues for late Sunday lunch. The food and service was great. The castle atmosphere made it a relaxing and beautiful place to catch up with each other. Would strongly recommend it.

Myself and my wife stayed at Killeen castle for 2 nights in one of the new lodges. We also played 2 rounds of golf. The lodge was very comfortable and spacious. A very comfortable able bed ensured a good nights sleep. Each lodge is in a block with a communal area with a kitchen/sitting room. Th golf course was in great condition and presents a real challenge with bunkers, water and rough. Make sure you have lots of balls and high handicappers need to avail of the slightly easier green tees. The staff are friendly and helpful. Bear in mind this is not a Hotel but we had friends come in to eat and drink with us and the service was excellent. Would definitely recommend.

I recently dined at Killeen Castle and was very disappointed. The fish was basic and served in a terrible tomato sauce, with a small portion of vegetables. The quality, size, and presentation of the meal were all poor. The staff were friendly but the service was inconsistent, and the coffee was terrible. It's a shame because the restaurant is beautiful and has a luxurious feel, but the food was a major disappointment.

We recently spent the day at Killeen for a corporate event to reward our staff post-COVID. From start to finish, the experience was excellent and spectacular. The staff were efficient, friendly, and diligent, taking care of our every need. The day went by too fast because it was so enjoyable. The food was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. The surroundings were pleasant to say the least. We definitely plan to return when the hotel opens.

After finishing our round of golf, we went to the restaurant for a meal. The menu was diverse, catering to all preferences. The service was fast and the servers were very helpful.
