Bidrage med feedbackVery good food in a lovely old pub. New staff learning the ropes but we're friendly and helpful. They will improve. Overall a lovely evening.
We parked up in the lay by for the night pre booked in our motorhome. Parking space is right on the loch edge this is quite a busy road BTW We were made very welcome by the staff who were all quite new but super friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Very nice food my husband ordered steak and he usually will only eat steak he's cooked himself which he said was perfect . Other meals were also very nice. Had a few drinks ks in the cosy and friendly bar after dinner . We also had breakfast there the next morning which again was nice. Highly recommend if you are in the area.
4 of us had a meal. my was a little disappointing that the broth roll with the suppe was not fresh, and the vege with the steak pie was so al dente it asked how long (or rather short) it was cooked. all brought the attention of the waiting staff who recognized my commentary. the other 3 meal times were good cash the one with a vegetable partly identical problem. will go back to due time to evaluate the facility.
Great cosy pub for food or drink with great view, very professional but friendly staff couldn’t do enough for us made us very welcome. We were a bit stuck for things to do round Loch Eck and they gave us great tips on where to do go which was very helpfull. Great choice of drinks on draft and the food was delicious. We stayed at near by lodge but when we will be coming next time we will definitely stay in one of the rooms of the Coylet Inn. Can’t recommend enough
Worth stopping at this historic wayside Inn. Good food, quirky bedrooms and very steep staircase! Dogs had a ball, and even the ghostie turned up. Best to limit intake of liquid if you're in a bedroom which isn't ensuite... The trip to the loo involves negotiating these stairs..
