Bidrage med feedbackThe restaurant offers a variety of delicious dishes cooked with maple syrup, such as crepes, bacon crisps, ham, and beans. It's a great place for families to visit and learn about the process of producing maple syrup.
The food at this sugar shack is incredible! I especially enjoyed the ham. The views are amazing and while the price of $30 per person is a bit higher than other sugar shacks, it is definitely worth it!
We had the marvelous opportunity to spend the afternoon at Erabilière Hilltop this past weekend. The inside of the cabane à sucre is a rustic open area decorated with beautiful Québecois items from days gone by. It created the perfect ambiance for the best part of the day-the food! It was heavenly. An all you can eat format that included all the traditional sugar shack food, wonderfully prepared with evident care and pride. I loved the meatballs-to die for. There was an impressive balcony/terrasse overlooking the surrounding area-just beautiful. The owner took time out to show us around including the sophisticated machinery that makes the maple syrup magic happen. The service was polite and prompt and it's a bring your own wine or beer as an added bonus. You will not go wrong here. Book and enjoy this wonderful Québec tradition at Erabiliere Hilltop.
Well, what can I say. We were a family group of 6 people. We all loved it. The owner was so nice and took the time from his crazy schedule to ensure we were happy and give us some history about the place. The sugar shack is located on a hilltop (hence the name) with views to the north and the valley below. It’s just a beautiful spot. Then there’s the food.... All you can eat. They serve the dishes at the table and keep coming back replenishing the empty dishes and asking if we are happy and if there’s anything we need. The food was extremely good. All the products are local. The menu was perfect and there’s even dessert with 4-5 different choices. When all done, you can enjoy Tire on the snow. What a delight. The atmosphere is warm and the chalet has wood beams and windows with views to die for. We will all definitely return next year.
Limited seating and homemade truly friend Canadian cooking makes this place standout from the usual commercial sugar shacks in Quebec. A must if your in the region. The enthusiasm of the owner for his products makes this place truly authentic. At 30$ adult, it’s well priced . But make reservations! This gem is known and many people visit. We did the first sitting at 10 am ....nice brunch. Ps maple syrup is excellent
