Morning Magpie - Dunedin

Some changes happened here, starting with the name. The place is now called maggies . We tried the Miso Mushroom Toastie and that was pretty good something else and great bread! Quite expensive, though. Coffee with soy was quite good as well. Due to Happy Cow regulations, extraordinary restaurants that serve not only vegan food can only receive 4*. To be fair to them, I can give here only 3*. Updated from previous review on 2022 11 14

Delicious vegan scrolls (I tried the cinnamon one as well as the sweet almond one). Staff were really lovely too, they were closing so we got a few extra scrolls! Lovely funky atmosphere too

Maggie's offers delicious vegan options both from the cabinet and made to order. We tried the tasty mushroom toast on seedy bread, museli with coconut yoghurt and a poached pear, as well as coffee and a beautiful loaf of sourdough bread. The flavors in all the dishes were amazing, and there were plenty of other salty and sweet options to choose from. The cafe has a cute and sociable environment, filled with cool people.
