Little India Dunedin

This is a charming restaurant, and the staff were extremely helpful when I mentioned that I was looking for a vegan option. I enjoyed a delicious curry with basmati rice and a roti. At $16, it was a fantastic value. I highly recommend this place!

I had an amazing dining experience at Little India Dunedin. The service was outstanding, and the food was incredibly tasty. The staff was attentive and friendly, which made our evening even more enjoyable. The menu offered a wonderful selection of Indian dishes, and everything we tried was full of flavor and expertly prepared. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in search of a delightful experience with Indian cuisine.

Loved the food and service, right up until I had to pay. Putting a tip option on the eftpos machine where I have to press no tip in front of the teller is just wrong. This is New Zealand, I paid $250 for 8 people to eat, I assume the staffs wages come out of that.

Good Location. Very yummy food cooked by chef. Good wine options. Loved the vegetarian food.

Don’t get me wrong, their curries are great. BUT the real showstopper are the different tikka chickens in the appetiser section. The meat is incredibly soft and falls apart, plus it is covered in amazing sauce and is completed with a light charr. My absolute go-to order when in Dunedin. Please try the malai tikka and chooza tikka.
