Allpress Espresso Roastery Café

I would like to express my gratitude to the lovely, helpful lady who assisted me with my coffee selection on February 24th. When I mentioned that I had enjoyed Allpress coffee but couldn't decide what beans to buy, I was genuinely impressed that she took the extra effort to find out which beans this café used. With that information, I was able to make my choice, and she even ground them for me. It's refreshing to see that old-school values still exist. If the manager could pass on my thanks to this lady, I would appreciate it; she wore glasses and had her hair tied back in a bun. Thank you! Barry Hewitt

I wouldn't recommend spending your money at this place. I simply wanted a green juice, but when I went to pay with cash, they informed me they wouldn't accept it due to COVID. If they're that concerned about safety, it's surprising that none of the staff were wearing masks. It's been such a long time; aren't we done with all the COVID precautions by now?

I highly recommend the flat whites and sandwiches at this place. The flat whites were fantastic; I really enjoyed their coffee blend, which pairs perfectly with the milk, giving it a strong coffee flavor. The toasted sandwiches were also delightful, bursting with great flavors. The staff were friendly, and the cozy atmosphere made for a nice escape from the cold weather outside. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Cosy cafe, good food selection and great coffee. Close to the museum and University of Otago.

Friendly staff. Cosy cafe. Cheese roll was so cheesy, fresh and yum. Cheese scone was toasted just perfect. Great coffee!!
