The Fishermans Tavern - Dundee

Only returned from a wonderful 3 days pause at fisherman’s. in the last 10 years it was often there and visited family from durham. great ambiente, cozy, very friendly, quirky, exceptionally clean rooms, crispy white bed linen, daily cleaning, food card taste only wonderful, so much choice including veggie. the hotel is located just a few seconds from a beautiful beach coastal path. more special thanks to lyn, who served us at breakfast, so cheerful, helpful, just like all the staff. we're coming back!

Good food and good service. everyone seems happy in his jobs that makes for a pleasant atmosphere. we were there for an early evening meal before we went to the Gardyne Theatre for a swing music gig, it was very busy because it was motherday, a few of the meals we wanted were not available, but, there are many options and we were all happy with our final decisions.

Had a really nice overnight. The room was lovely with a very comfortable bed, I usually don't like pillows in a hotel but the 1's they have were so good. The food was delicious staff were all really friendly helpful.

I received a warm welcome from the friendly and helpful staff. I stayed in a fantastic room (#5) with a nice view of the sea. The selection of real ales was impressive, and the dining experience was quite reasonable. The haggis fritters with whisky sauce were particularly delightful. I would definitely stay here again!
