Dekaden Retro Bar, located on Union Street, is the former Rendezvous Bar space. The bar is minimally decorated with 70s and 80s posters, clean chairs, and a small dance floor. During our visit, a cover band played loud music, which was a bit overwhelming for the small space. The cellar-like pub has friendly and efficient staff.

The staff is friendly and helpful, with good music. However, there is a problem with bird droppings on the bar. I do not recommend this place. Avoid at all costs.

The place caught our eye because of the decoration of a retro club. the shame was eating terrible and they couldn't even make a Caesars salad. very disappointed, waste of money.

On Saturday, September 8th, I noticed a sign outside advertising OAP meal specials for £4.95, which included tea or coffee. We were greeted by a friendly server named Courtney, who provided excellent service. We ordered the fish and chips, which came with a generous portion and the cook's homemade tartar sauce. The meal arrived quickly and was hot, with the fish tasting incredibly fresh. The meal also included a large pot of tea. I observed other meals being served from the regular menu, and it was clear that no one would leave hungry. The restaurant was clean and the toilets were well-maintained. I will definitely be returning, as the food was outstanding. Additionally, it holds sentimental value for me as we had our wedding reception there 30 years ago. The new owners have done a fantastic job brightening up the place.

Food was great lots of flavour fast service great prices food stops at 6:45 DJ started at 8pm and right through till 1 am great song choice's drinks very cheap will defiantly be going back fantastic atmosphere.
