Chopstix Chinese Take-away Delivery

While working in the city center, I decided to order from Chopstix through Just Eat. I ordered 2 boxes of chicken and some chicken balls as sides for 2 people, totaling £27. I initially thought it was a bit pricey, but I thought maybe I had ordered too much. When the order arrived, the food was lukewarm and each box only had 5 pieces of chicken. The noodles also seemed old and dry. I would recommend avoiding this place.

I visited Chopsticks for the first time and had high hopes since there was a line. However, I was extremely disappointed in the low quality of the food. I ordered a small box with fried rice that was dry and burnt-tasting. The lemon chicken was also dry with no sauce. I don't plan on returning and ended up throwing most of it away.

The food at Chopsticks was terrible. I ordered noodles, rice, lemon chicken, and salt and pepper chicken, and all of it was disgusting. The lemon chicken tasted like cleaning products and the salt and pepper chicken was rubbery. The food made me so sick that I ended up in the hospital with severe food poisoning and a fever. I even vomited blood because of it. I would not recommend going to Chopsticks, the experience was absolutely awful.

First visit in a few years and won’t be going back for many more. Took my granddaughter aged 9 and we were both disappointed. Service was abysmal. Choice was worse. No fried rice and only chicken in two or three sauces. Spring rolls were very dry. Obviously been sitting there for a while. I asked the server if that was it, meaning the choice. Yup. I was told. They are supposed to be open until 8pm and this was the back of five. Anyhoo I got barbecue chicken with noodles and the aforementioned spring rolls. The noodles weren’t very hot and the chicken had the consistency of rubber. Spring rolls were dried out. Both of us were disappointed. Worst £10 I’ve spent in a while.

The staff were great and the environment was friendly. The food was delicious and lots of choice available.
