Toast had mold on it,, no refills on water entire breaky, bacon is smaller than use dot be, yelling in kitchen,, place has gone wayy downhill last couple years.

Had a bit of a rough morning. 9 yr old suggested brunch. So as usual we hit idaybreak in whitby again! We come here 1-2 times a month. We always get the club and fries homefries. For the last year and a bit. Never Once have i ever been dissatisfied. Food is hot fresh and cones pretty quick even when busy. Cooks are friendly and smile and make sure you are enjoying your meal. Servers are fantastic and attentive even when busy. Fast friendly service and delicious food by the cooks. Looking forward to our next visit!!!!

My son took his wife, two young children and my self for breakfast on Mother’s Day, there was not a line up we seated under 5 minutes, 15 mins later we got water, 30 mins later we got coffee and order taken, 60 mins later our busy waitress advised us our order had got lost!!!! We left hungry and frustrated to continue our day. Today I called and was met by a rude response “I’ll give you one free breakfast” “I don’t want any complaints “ Needless to say we will never visit any of his three locations again.

We have not been here in a long time so we thought we would give it a try again for lunch. Big mistake! It was not busy at all...about 7 to 10 other tables and yet it took 35 minutes to get two sandwiches. The server was really great and did keep apologizing saying that there was a “big table” ahead of us. It was one table of 7 people. If the cook (and I use cook because the food was not chef worthy) has trouble with one table of seven this place won’t survive the winter. And when the food came it was disappointing. I had the club and it was dry and the bacon was over cooked and they put a slice of processed cheddar on a club. My wife had the blt with the same over cooked dry bacon. To top it off the two sandwiches and a coffee came to $30. No way we will be back her for slow back of house service, bad food and high prices. 3 strikes.

I have been eating here for years and it has gone down the drain! I bought a grilled cheese and home fries to go The owner an older Trini or Guyanesse guy) cooked it beside a huge mound of bacon my grilled cheese soaked in all the grease made it greasy and soggy didnt even cook properly it looked like a greasy mess of whitebread melted cheese and slime. So I didn 't go back for a few weeks. Today decided to give them a chance again went in owner asked how I was I told him that I was okay and wasnt happy with the food last time it was terrible I was very polite about it didn 't even want anything in return) he got absolutely rude and arrogant told me Then Don 't Buy Anything In My Store nice and loud other customers heard I guess he was hoping to embarrass me but all he did was make himself look like a fool! So I didn 't buy anything and I am not going to buy anything again in his store! Nor should any of you! All I have to say is this is not how the owner treats his loyal longtime customers he doesn 't deserve anyones money it 's a shame too the girls that work there are really nice I feel bad they work for him cause if he treats his loyal customer base awful like he does then how does he treat his staff. If I could give negative stars believe me I would I am appalled! !!!! DO NOT EAT HERE THE OWNER IS IGNORANT
