Original Captain Harvey Submarine, 3435 Dundalk Avenue

This place is a local symbol when it comes to subs and it lived up to its reputation! The subs are HUGE so that you have to share or not eat all day. We had the cheese steak and it had to be at least one pound of meat on a beautiful fresh roll. Will definitely be back and recommend it!

I visited here for the first time and loved the whole experience. I thought this captain theme was very sweet and the food is great. They have a fast service, a generous part (especially for meat, and a very reasonable price. I ordered crispy chicken salad and my husband ordered fried fish sandwich. We loved it both. I also liked how fresh their ingredients are. A friend of mine ordered her famous cheese Steak Sub and it looked delicious. (And look at her flesh!) We were so full and satisfied! Must try if you are in Baltimore area!!!!

The food is really quite good here, we have come here for a long time, even before it has changed owners, the opening of the other side was an enormous improvement and an excellent idea! much better atmosphere and definitely more room to sit down and actually eat! the atmospheres much better, the average cost to eat here is about $23 to $26 per pair, no matter what you choose on the menu, but they are decent portions with high quality ingredients that come.

This place gives you a massive amount of meat on your sub so I hope you have a large mouth or at least a fork to pick up what falls off. Great food, always fresh and hot made to order. Love it!

Cheese steak sandwiches are a must-eat menu at this restaurant! I ordered a half-size, but I was surprised that the sandwich came out like the size of Chipotle double meat burrito, and I thought I couldn't eat it all because it was so huge but the taste was so good, I ended up eating it all in an instant! The owner is very kind, the facilities are very clean, and it's a good restaurant to go for lunch!
