Ballymascanlon House - Dundalk

My golf group had a fantastic golf outing and stayed overnight at the Ballymascanlon House Hotel. The golfing was superb, the dining was excellent, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We definitely plan on returning for more visits in the future.

18 of us stayed here for a golf weekend this month. the staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms are large and clean, the eating was great, the grounds and the golf course were in nice condition. a great weekend of all enjoyed and. we book to return next year. more special thanks to sylvia for the support in our booking and gerry in the golf shop, which could no longer have been friendly and helpful.

In juli 2021 two nights stayed here. beautiful, comfortable hotel with good free time and dining area. pleasant and helpful staff. eating excellent. would definitely like to return.

This hotel couldn’t do enough for us in such a kind and no-nonsense way. Had a car sick traveller with us, they got us checked into our room within 20 minutes despite being about 3 hrs early! The bar staff and wait staff went above...and beyond to make us happy and comfortable. All measures in place made for a relaxing mid-pandemic stay. The leisure centre, the restaurant and bar were all very well kept and clean. Food was yummy (goats cheese especially). Our room was massive!!! Grounds are stunning. Kinda wished we knew how to play golf. 10/10 for the staff which really is the heart of any establishment.

Excellent Food and Service Visited the bar for food and drinks on a Saturday evening. The bar was not overly packed and we got a table straight away. The service and food were outstanding as always. It was good to see that the menu had...been updated but some of the old favourites are still on it. We had a very enjoyable evening. Highly recommend.
