Bidrage med feedbackCons: Ordered the Standford Benedict it was not seasoned at all! The bread on the side was burnt black, blend was not balanced in flavor. Left my stomach hurting. Coffee was burnt. I love coffee and could not finish it. Pros: French toast was solid. The clam chowder was good. If I knew that the Standford Benedict was bad I would have just ordered a bowl of clam chowder it was yummy.
I would say 4.5 ?? We had the Salmon-Crab cake salad, a French toast and a burger with fries and a cup of clam chowder. Our order took a long time to get served. I would stay inside next time if ever, it has better atmosphere and decor than the back patio. The servers are good at what they do and they make your visit worthwhile. The crab cake was a little bland but wasn?t bad at all.
Eggs were cooked correctly and the country sausage was delicious. The toast was cold and the potatoes were both over and under done. Staff was very friendly and the location was beautiful.
Very cute old-time atmosphere and they also have outdoor seating. We ate here twice during our 4 night local stay. Everything we had was amazing. Shrimp and Grits was definitely the best I've had outside of New Orleans. It was spicy but even I could handle it (I don't usually tolerate spicy) and I ordered it both nights! The hamburger was terrific, as was their Mahogany Pork (which was a special but they also have Mahogany Chicken which is probably just as good). We also had the Walnut Crusted Goat Cheese which was an amazing appetizer, but could also be a dessert.
Holy peanut sauce!! ? The Thai noodles HUGE PORTION were amazing!! And the burger was on point with sweet potato fries. Everything is made fresh to order so be prepared to wait if it?s really busy. Outdoor patio and indoor dining available. They serve tea from right next door and have Bella Rosa coffee. A must in Duncans Mills!
