The Steamboat Inn - Dumfries

It was a bit awkward, but my memory of a previous visit and the fantastic eating were worth the miles. I had the most tasty bratbeef with all the circumcisions we have the pleasure of tasting. many thanks we will definitely be back!

Here again at the weekend and this time we stayed in the b and b which was great. Yet another place in Dumfries and Galloway we love coming to. All the staff are just brilliant and Kate always makes you feel so welcome, as do all the other staff. Food is fantastic and was great to sit back and enjoy a glass of wine and not drive back to a wigwam or Barend. Thanks again guys and have a fantastic Christmas. I'm sure we'll be back down within the next couple of months...

Fantastic Sunday Roast Beef Dinner, gravy to die for! All of the staff are very friendly very helpful. The pubs decor is unusual but that adds to the atmosphere, the saddle bar stools deserve their own mention! it's dog friendly too!

8 beautiful meals. Nice pint, nice wine and great friendly service. Would highly recommend

All 5 of us had a lovely meal at the Steamboat Inn. ..huge portions and good quality food. And our dog was made very welcome too!
