They get two stars because the server did the best he could all alone with a lot of people. I have made a quest to find the best eggs benedict. The cast Iron bar and grill cooked and served the worst one I've ever had. First foul, 4 small slices of wonder bread, not english muffin, second, deli ham has no place unless it's a nice pile of meat, but here you got one very thin slice fried to nothing. I did not expect a real poached egg (Only the Boat House serves this) but there menu said basted egg. What the hell is that. they were fried. This is our third or fourth attempt to like this place, but alas every time the food sucked. Just proves my point... Lower your standards Duluth this is good as it gets.

Disappointing. First, entrees only served after 4pm. So I ordered a Steak Salad. With FIVE cubes of steak, and one tiny piece. $13.99. Hubby's Apple Burger was tasty, but small with a small bunch of fries. Waitress was friendly but no water refills. Not someplace we'll recommend.

Second or third time stopping in always a disappointment, drinks were below par, food was ordered without an item, came out cold with item, sent back. Came back second time with item picked off top but still lingering lower. Staff was terse to say at best.

Ate there twice. Breakfast was delicious. Went back another time for dinner, it was good too.
