Vinny Vanucchi's Little Italy - Dubuque

We enjoy coming to Dubuque and make it a point to eat at Vinnie's when we do. A friend recommended a long time ago and now I do.

Food and service is always good. Noise level with a table for 21- in the same room celebrating made for a loud room. But won’t stop us from returning.

Made reservations to sit at table (handicap acc), hostess wanted to at bar or upstairs. Not. Bread sticks were yesterdays, cold and dry. Wife's ravioli not cooked, just sauce poored over. My fettuccine cream sauce was very thick, not a compliment. No cheese or ground pepper offered. No additional napkins offered. The best part of the meal was the salad.... And the stack of empty beer bottles on the front step did not add anything to the atmosphere. Not worth a repeat.

Excellent food and the staff was wonderful, as always.

Food was great; just what we expected for good Italian. Mother said the meatballs were just like grandmothers.
