Mario's Italian - Dubuque

Vegetarian options: There were 2 options available and I chose the pizza without cheese due to my allergy. Although it could have used more toppings, it was still delicious. Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant was accommodating for our large group, going above and beyond to ensure accessibility. We made sure to call in advance and arrange everything beforehand.

I dined with a group after making reservations weeks in advance, but it took over an hour for our food to be served. A neighboring table arrived, ordered, and received their bill before we even received our dinner.

We had reservations but still had to wait for half an hour. The appetizers arrived quickly and were good. However, our main course came out before our salads, and we had to remind our waiter about them. The salads were brought to us just as we were finishing our meal. The marinara sauce had a strong taste of raw garlic. The restaurant was busier than it should have been. I do not plan on returning.

First time here it looked like a cute hole in the wall place. Downtown Dubuque area. We got the veggie pizza and some cheese bread it was really good!!

Waited a very long time for 2 lasagna meals. We were falling asleep. Lasagna sauce was missing some Italian seasoning very plain. We were very disappointed. We were excited to have some authentic tasting Italian food.
