Closed - Dubuque

It really enjoyed a dinner in the button Country Roadhouse tonight. We had both Broasted Chicken and it was soooooooo good. Fries were also great. The good Ol' Potosi Pint was what I needed. Service was excellent... my only disappointment was that they are not open for lunch on Wednesday

Had the Friday fish fry, it was excellent! All you can eat during Lent. Great friendly service, great clean place!

Great rail of beers and super nice server with a smile like nobody's business. Golf on TV, good music. Becoming a fav stop between Dubuque and Galena.

I have been here several times. The Blue Gill Dinner is my favorite dish. I do have to call ahead to make sure it is available, which kind of tells one how good it is. I also like the pretzel. It is difficult for 3 to 4 to eat that and still have room for dinner. But it is so good. I have always had wonderful service. Being a bit slow to serve is not an issue. They can get busy like anywhere else, but is worth the wait.
