Bidrage med feedbackThis place is still alive and well. Like the other reviews, this place is worth stopping at off of Route 66. Delicious food in the middle of a unique environment. The building used to be a bank. We ate lunch in the small vault. Staff was really friendly too. We ordered the tomato soup special, bacon spinach wrap, and cranberry Turkey panini. Don’t miss out on the coconut cream pie!!
Not very friendly, didn’t have quite a few things on the menu, very slow service for a place called wild hare. Not a quick detour.
Exploring the small town of Du Bois Idaho, we came upon this historic building. I just thought it was interesting and took a photo. We did not eat here so I can’t comment on the food. We were only passing through heading towards Glacier National Park.
Maple nut and vanilla Oreo ice cream is homemade and the best we've ever had!!
We stopped in off the road based on other reviews on Yelp. It did not disappoint. The atmosphere is more like your aunt 's kitchen than a restaurant. The service was quick and the food was good. It was obvious from listening to the owner visit with other patrons that they are part of this little community. We did see a for sale sign in the yard, but hope they stick around for our next trip through this part of the state.
