Went here with my family for my Mam’s birthday on Friday evening. From the time we arrived we were welcomed warmly, left a cake with the guy at reception who was very courteous. Our waiter was Daniel who was so attentive professional friendly. Food was amazing as always however what topped the visit for me was Daniel bringing a tiny pizza for my youngest daughter who’s 9 for her two dolls!! It was the cutest thing ever!!! Thank you for making our family celebration so special singing happy birthday along with our family ! I can not tell you how awful of an experience I had at this place today. I arrived to the restaurant and there were few people there. I was thinking “great, there’s only a few of us to wait on so things won’t be that bad”. The waitress disappeared into the back and there was no one to take my order for what felt like too long. After taking my order she asked me did I want any drinks and I said tap water was fine. There were about 4 tables in total. The biggest being one of maybe 4 people. I waited patiently for the water. My first course arrived and went and I realised I still didn’t have any water. After the main course was brought out I asked the waitress for the water and she obliged. I started to notice as I was eating my food that the waitress and manager spoke to each other across the room. At one point the waitress was on one side of me and the manager and herself were having a conversation, quite loudly. It felt like I wasn’t even there. I put in my earphones at one point just to try to drown out their loud voices. I’ve never felt so invisible in my life. At one point the waitress came over to my table to wait on me and continued to converse, rather loudly, with another table that had just paid and were leaving. It was all just a little bit strange and incredibly awkward and uncomfortable. It felt like what I imagine it’s like when the restaurant closes and the staff are alone, shouting across the length of the room. It was all just really weird. It was as if there was no one in the restaurant. It was as if the staff, manager included, had never worked in a restaurant before. Hands down worst experience in a restaurant in my life. Never had a dining experience so horrible. I couldn’t enjoy my food at all. And to top it all off, after waiting for the waitress to reappear after disappearing someone again, she obliged to bring me the bill and handed me a card machine after typing in the balance owed I went to tap my card and she said to me I needed to “follow the instructions on screen”, she was expecting a tip. A tip! She had the nerve to ask me for a tip! She gave me a machine asking me if I wanted to leave a tip!? Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €30–40 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Went here for my daughter's 14th birthday. The food was gorgeous, and my mum said the wine was lovely, too. I had a couple of glasses of prosecco that were very reasonably priced compared to other restaurants. I have been going to Milanos over the years, and they have always kept their prosecco at a reasonable price. My only complaint is my partner wasn't keen on the tiramisu. He has eaten a lot better. Everything else was gorgeous, though. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Pollo Pesto
