Mad Egg - Dublin Road, Ratoath

Have visited many times, for years! Arrived yesterday and it was extremely quiet because of Easter Sunday which was great for us. You order now by scanning the table with your phone and the menu pops up and you pay by card. So the staff just drop the food and collect when you 're done : that 's fine by me but I actually had to go to the staff a few times for napkins, sauce etc. Nobody checked to see if the food was ok or if we needed anything extra. The cheese sauce was awful which I was surprised because it 's never been bad. It was almost like flour I could taste bits in it. Turned me off my burger and fries because they come covered in cheese! I told the girl and she was just like oh ok and that was it really. €90 bill for food that wasn 't great. Will probably not return unfortunately

If you 're craving a chicken sandwich while in Dublin, you definitely have to stop in at Mad Egg and order one of their signature sandwiches. The chicken is juicy, crispy, and tasty! Recommendation: Try the GOAT with crispy chicken breast, parmesan cheese, candied bacon, garlic mayo, pickles, and lettuce. Pair with their Mad Yoke Pale Ale!

The sauce choices were excellent and they were all delicious! The chicken tenders were just right, not too breaded.

Great food, and I order regularly, but won’t be doing so again, fed up of the terrible service, orders are never on time, always an issue when collecting orders

Well what can I say, this is the most amazing food I've ever tasted, the only negative thing I have to say is that it left me wanting more!!!! seriously another level ????????
