Cocu - Dublin Road, Ratoath

I usually pass for coffee and chocolate and never been disappointed. Delirious, amazing coffee, lovely interior esp the big window on the street side gives the cafe more light and air. So Go and try it yourself ; .

I 've been here twice and had two different experiences one was a solid 3 stars, one was 4, so I 'm giving them the benefit of the doubt here! Cocu is a great option if you want healthy for lunch. And, on one occasion it was also very filling the other time, I 'm sad to say, they definitely skimped on portion sizes! Their offerings are a nice range of flavors and the build your own idea is definitely present here in the salads, where you pick a main thing (usually protein heavy) and the bases (rice, greens, etc) with a flavor kick as well. I was impressed with the Vietnamese Chicken which I got the second time the chicken was nice and tender and fresh, worth the price! However, because of the paltry few cubes I got when I (paid extra and) ordered the sweet potatoes, I can 't recommend going for the premium options. They definitely don 't mind giving you a solid scoop of the regular ones but the premium ones must be on war rations or something because the portion sizes are laughably small. The coffee there is also fine but not worth making a specific trip for when there are so many other excellent coffee shops within a few minutes ' walk. All in all, it 's great for a healthy lunch stop price reflects this (slightly higher than it deserves to be in my opinion) but won 't stop me from coming back to see which way the balance tips for worth it or not!

For 9€ got a super simple plate of salad (only carrot, a little bit of chive and cucumber, no spices! and 3 of the dryest falafels I have ever eaten. The dip and salad sauce weren't special.

Super restaurant and great concept. Very well placed in Dublin, dishes that envy and that have a lot of flavors! I highly recommend this address that will become one of my favorite canteens

Very impressed. Great take of healthy food here. Brunch is fab. Coffee is good. Interior is stylish and very comfortable. Would highly recommend.
