Burnells - Dublin Road, Ratoath

Hello! I had a lot of difficulty with my luggage, as there was no one to take the cart, take the luggage from the taxi and take it to the room. I had to pick up all the heavy bags myself. It already gave me a bad impression of the hotel right away and that I wouldn't recommend it to other people. Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

Terrible experience, living local to the hotel and went with 2 friends for a drink. Ignored by bar staff and made to feel very unwelcome. Try the balgriffin inn about a 4 minute walk from the hotel Meal type: Other Price per person: €10–20 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

The seafood chowder was excellent as was the salad. My son thought the curry was very good. My daughter was not overly impressed by the pasta. Price per person: €10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Dublin Bay Chowder

We arrived late to the hotel and was famished. Had to walk in to ask to be seated even though it was not super busy. Servers were busy talking amongst themselves with backs to the entrance. Had to ask to order and informed the waiter we were very hungry. Half hour later, still no food. Asked another waitress who was responsive in checking with the kitchen. Another 2 patrons came in and was served before us. We asked why and was told their food was already cooked but ours need more time to prepare?! They had fish and chips. Less than 5 min later, our food came. The stew was delicious and hit the spot. The onion rings were tasty. Overall if the service was better, I’d give this place a 4. We are staying at the hotel so we are here out of convenience and due to the time of day. Meal was expensive for 2 stews, 1 beer and 1 onion rings for 26 euros each.
