Bidrage med feedbackHad booked the table weeks in advance with deposit payment. Were seated upstairs in the last corner. Not very pleased with the check in, had to wait very long. Overall chaotic. Our waitress was amazing though, a real warrior. Won’t come back though. Food was ok. But we didn’t feel welcome.

Our overall experience was terrible. The service was some of the worst I’ve received at an up market restaurant. When reported this to a staff member we were met with the response “it’s not great for us either” you may want to consider sending your staff to johns house mountsorrel to experience what it’s like to receive real service
The staff really tried to do their best however the whole evening was a big disappointment. We waited over an hour for our booking, then our dinner wasn’t served for another hour, along with the smoke alarm going off on our floor throughout the meal, due to our hot stone. Unfortunately some of our order was incorrect, including 1 of our guests with no plate or cutlery for most of the meal, and some of the sauces arriving after we finished eating. The restaurant was out of stock of very popular beer and drinks which left us with a limited selection to order from. However the food itself was delicious and the staff were very apologetic of which subsequently took some money off the bill to compensate however it wasn’t a very pleasant experience.
Chateaubriand 550g, hard to finish as so large, but excellent on the hot stone to cook as you like it.
