Irish Film Institute (ifi) - Dublin

The ifi is a great place to watch innovative and new work the best filmmakers in the world, sometimes even a chance to meet them. it is also a place that allows new filmmakers to show their work.

I have heard mixed reviews about the ifi for many years. some good, some bad, etc. but for me, I must say that I have never experienced anything except fantastic service by cinema staff restaurant staff. yes, there were times when the place was filled with people, the queues were somewhat unorganized, but to be honest, it is not so big of a deal. it is a small cinema with limited space, I think when they should get into a movie or just for eating them should expect that they do not get a table in the restaurant at peak times while they wait for their movies to start or just a table in general, but this is just the kind as it is too time. keep them the amazing work people.

Still great after all these years. can not talk to the food since we did not eat this time, but after a gig in the Olympics for a drink, when any other place was filled with stags and hen parties, the ifi was cooled with good music, fast service and place to put. forget how much I like the place.

Very friendly staff. had an early bite with friends and it was delicious. a tipp have the ice cream with popcorn. they think it will be strange..es spectacular!
