Bidrage med feedbackI came here to ask for the typical kerala bark fry with parotha last year I will still say that there is a great place to get this authentic kerala bark style dishes and love it with these soft parothas
A quaint joint with excellent customer oriented staff to cater to your dining needs. The dishes are reasonably priced and the quality is great. Head out for some nice treat.
Yesterday we tried a beef biriyani from here . It was our first lunch in city makani . It’s really nice the rice beef . It’s properly cooked the beef . The interior also something different. Anyway our experience it was nice
Another well established restaurant in karama inside shk. Hamdan colony with good food and ambience. They have dining spaces inside and also outside titled Ayikkara harbour, which I think is in reference to the ayikkra fish harbour in kannur. I noticed boat shaped seats outside. We sat inside as we went recently in january and it was cold air outside. We ordered a parotta chicken kizhi which had 3 parottas mixed with chicken gravy in vazhayilla as a kizhi which was extremely tasty. Also my wife and kid ordered prawns roast with a mix of appams and wheat parotta. It was also tasty as per them. After food we ordered a nannari sarbath which was only average. Considering the taste of the food , we ignored this. Price is a bit above average, but not expensive. There are many restaurants in this area, so parking can be difficult on weekends, but you will definitely find one.
We visited for a lunch and absolutely loved it. They didn't have everything ready as we were early their meals and normal porota curries are yummy. Nice ambience rustic vibe. The staff is friendly and happy around customers. The menu is also varied so many choices. Overall must visit. We will definitely try breakfast and dinner options someday. My thumbs up!
