Harry's Bistro - Drogheda

I just randomly happened upon this place and chose to eat there because there was a seat in the sun. I had lemon sole with mashed potato and asparagus with an amazing citrus sauce. It was so simple and absolutely beautiful. I’ll go there again next time I’m in Dun Laoghaire.

I went to Harry's Cafe and Bar for a quick breakfast and ordered the avocado toast with poached eggs and a cappuccino. The service was outstanding and the food was delicious!

The service was extremely slow and the food arrived cold. Additionally, there were no condiments on the table. While most of the staff were pleasant, the manager was rude and condescending. He invaded our personal space, reaching across us on the table to replace a takeaway cup and adding unnecessary "finishing touches" to our already started meal. It was a terrible experience. The manager even refused to let me order a coffee directly from the barista and questioned why I requested salt for my food. Overall, it was an unpleasant encounter.

This restaurant serves the best breakfast I have had in years. I tried the Norwegian eggs and they were absolutely delicious. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly and the potato rosti was very flavorful. While the prices may be a bit higher than other places, the quality of the food here is far above average. I will definitely be returning in the future.

Really nice place. Friendly staff, great music. Good choice on menu and food was excellent. A great pot of tea too, so many places get this wrong but not Harry's.
