Elbterrasse Wachwitz - Dresden

Idyllic romantic is the dresdner restaurant elbterrasse Wachwitz halfway between the blue wonder and the burg pillnitz. a place on the elbe for relaxing and staying. wonderful! from 12 o'clock you can here (included in the beer garden) farm kitchen with a selection of great wines and enjoy the magnificent view of the elbe it is included. refreshing drinks are a pleasure at the heat. for 5,70 Euro/0,5l you will find delicious limonade such as zitrus, sky mint or apfel kirsch. the aperol injection costs 6.50 Euro/0.2l as summer edition there is even a separate wein of kosiol and the weingut shoe in the elb terrace wokenwitz. the glass white burgundy (2021) is for 9.80 Euro/0.2l, which we started with some appetizers. the icy gurkensuppe with a narrow was a daily offer (foto 4: 6,90 euro.) in addition we had a fruity tomato spice (6,20 euro) and the anti pasti according to type of house. the zucchini, paprika and aubergine grilled in crumb and garlic is served cold. there is a small garnel speer and garlauch baguette (foto 5: 12.50 euro.) the goat cheese with a walnut criminal frittier, a small salat boquet and berries for 9.90 euro. a warm team is just as important as a good menu and after this convinces the Saxon/Bavarian cuisine of the elb terrace wowitz by using fresh and mostly regional products. we have eaten: tagliatelle in lemon butter with zucchini, pine nuts, cherry tomatoes and parmesan (foto 2: 14,20 euro) sour roasted by in-house marinade on lebkuchen rosinjus with apple-red cabbage and spit spit (foto 3: 17,80 euro)

We ordered 2 wiener schitzel kalb) with bratkatoffel and it was the worst we ever had in Germany Dry like they were made in the morning and fried in the evening, horrible We got credit for one of them , I have eaten to much The salat was very good The server was very nice and the restaurant also nice outside So it is a petty they serve this kind of food and don 't care We mailed the restaurant with no answer

When you are in Dresden, you might wish to visit August's amazing summer palace in Pillnitz. It's really worth while the little journey. On the way back to Dresden, I recommend to take a rest at the lovely restaurant Elbterrasse Wachnitz. We did so and had a very good time, sitting on his very romantic terrace and watching the boats on the river. This place offers good food and service. The restaurant has a great history from good old times, and we got very tempted to come back here and even stay a few days at the hotel enjoying peaceful atmosphere.

At lunchtime this Restaurant offers a broad menue for selection of the guest´s preference. As an entree we prefered a Spritz . For main course two had a delicious Gans , one had a delightful fish on vegetables and one had the local speciallity of young pig attached with green cabbage. For drink we had local red and local white wines, except the driver who enjoyed a lovely Weissbier non alcoholic. Only the birthday guy enjoyed the dessert additionally, the local hot apple cake wtith ice and creame attached. we enjoyed the final coffee at the end.

We were there with 12 people for my dad's birthday at the end of February. We'd always do that.
