Over There Cafe - Downtown Kansas City

I heard that they recently started serving some hot food items. I decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised. I had the Reuben sandwich and the Trench stew. Both were excellent. My wife had the turkey club which she enjoyed as well, a generous portion. The staff was very friendly.

Much nicer than expected! Would come back when NOT visiting the museum.

I like eating reuben sandwiches, and this place is the absolute best for a Reuben that I have encountered. Can’t wait to try it again.

Service was great, i would recommend the chicken salad, and of course the chocolate-chocolate chip cookie. The prices were fair, and we were thankful to have a lunch option so we could continue our visit at the museum.

Go Over There. Maybe the best museum cafe I can recall. Nice prices, nice selection, bottomless coffee, friendly service, tasty food and open to the public without a museum ticket. I mean, seriously, a bottomless coffee for only 2 bucks?? Send the word, send the word over there. For the yanks are coming...
