Bidrage med feedbackWe had the wedge salad and oysters for an appetizer. Both were delicious. For entrees we had the cowboy steak, and surf and turf. The lobster was AMAZING. Best lobster I've ever had. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. When I first booked, I thought we'd be eating downstairs (darker ambience, romantic), but the restaurant is actually upstairs and a lot more bright (less romantic). It was still nice but just be aware of that.
I took my wife on a much needed date night here with a recommendation from my sister. When we arrived, we pulled up to have our car valeted because the times were posted as 3pm 11pm from Friday Sunday. We arrived at 6:25pm on Saturday. The person at the valet booth simply looked at me and my wife and said “self park.” That’s it. Nothing else. No explanation as to why services weren’t being provided and no real customer service. Simply, “self park.” Strike one. When we arrived at the restaurant, seating was pretty straight forward and pleasant. We were seated at a corner table. Our waiter was waiting on two larger parties and my heart immediately sank our little party of two was going to suffer. It did. Another party of five came about 20 minutes after us and was seated next to us yet their waiter had their bread options and appetizers out before we even got bread. Strike two. I ordered a medium steak. When it arrived, it was close to well done. I cut into the steak as asked by the server and there was almost NO pink. He apologized and asked if I wanted to send it back, but the steak was still juicy and very flavorful. Plus I didn’t want to wait an additional 30 45 minutes to get my entree. Strike three. If you’re going to spend between $175 250 for a meal for two, there are certain things that I expect to be on point. This was an okay experience, but I’d rather go to Ruth’s Chris or Del Frisco’s for the overall experience to accompany the food. Or else, I should have simply gone to Texas Roadhouse and listened to “Yeehaws” and be surrounded by peanut dust. I love TRH steaks and I would have spent 1/4 of what I paid for this lack luster experience. I can say we went. And that’s just about it. I won’t be returning.
Excellent meal and of course it's a little pricey but, it's an upscale place and it's not totally out of line. You get what you pay for and it was well worth it. I got a ribeye steak that's probably the best I've had in years. Everything was excellent...cocktails, appetizers, all top notch. Service was great as well, Elijah was our server. All to be expected from a top-notch place like this. We had a totally enjoyable experience!
My wife took me dinner for my retirement. The service was outstanding, Kenny was our server and he was GREAT. The steak was under cooked and the server was right on top of the fix. I had Surf &Turf, my wife had Ribs. All turned out well. Thanks to the server for a outstanding JOB. Mr. Ridgeway
This was 2nd trip to DD in 2 weeks. First rest was Sugar Factory. In a word, awful service and food. Prime roasted chicken was half Cornish hen with a hot Chili pepper! Who eats a whole chili pepper. For what we paid, food was awful!!!! Why can’t these restaurants put more effort into their food? Do not recommend!!
