Gr8 Burgers More - Dover

I really enjoyed my burger, and my husband liked his as well. We shared a serving of the fresh cut fries, which were fantastic. We both had shakes that were quite nice; I opted for the butter pecan since they were out of fresh bananas, but I felt the pecans could have been chopped smaller. Everything we tried was delicious, but the dining room was a bit messy, and the front staff could have demonstrated more professionalism while serving. On a positive note, they have sweet potato tots, and they are absolutely amazing – possibly even better than the milkshakes!

While I was attempting to enjoy this bland meal, the cook unexpectedly came out from the kitchen and turned off the TV without asking if it was alright for him to do so. This was especially frustrating since my fellow customers and I were watching the game. With over 35 years of experience in customer service in the federal government, I can confidently say this staff would not last long if it were up to me. It's clear why the stock price for this hotel has declined; their food service truly needs significant improvement.

To add to this disappointing experience, the place is called "Great Burgers," but the burgers are surprisingly bland and nearly inedible. There's absolutely no flavor to them. Overall, this has been a pretty terrible experience. Thankfully, our meal was complimentary, but even with a coupon, we won’t be returning.

GR8 ... NOT! Not even close. Do not let the name fool you. . With a name like GR8 Burgers&Shakes one would think it would be just that...great burgers and shakes...Nope. They have only 3 flavors of shakes (4 if you count the chocolate and vanilla mix). I had the strawberry and it was 'just okay ' at best. I ordered bacon cheese burger, no pickles. It showed up at my table with pickles on it. Even so, it was still just 'okay '. The fries, other other hand, were were not 'just okay ', they were absolutely terrible...soggy, greasy, half-cooked. The staff ...very unprofessional. Acted like t hey could care less if you visited their establishment or not. Well, no worries, I won 't be back.

Unusually long time for food and terrible fries A Hardees or similar, better, and cheaper. Stopped in about 5 PM on Saturday. Not crowded at all. Ordered a burger, fries, and a shake. Shake was ready in about 5 minutes. Burger and fries took at least 20 minutes. Maybe the burger was cooked and served right away, but fries obviously were not. They were soggy and super greasy, and were mostly little broken off tidbits opf once bigger fries. I can't see any reason they would be that way other than they were not fried as part of my order. Must have been sitting around. Shake and burger was good.
