Waterhole - Douglas

Fun at the first visit. On the way home and to see this place was exactly what I needed. Great staff and good food.

Amazing burgers great service and cool atmosphere..

Not sure who owns the joint but I asked for mead.. Never had to explain what it was so many times until I came to Douglas. Sure enough a week later it was on the shelves and I'm probably the only person buying it but that doesn't bother me. I can't complain about the place.

Heading from Jackson and not many choices my daughter picked this place out by the fries on Google. Although it took more time than I had scheduled the food was really good. Mind you this is a small establishment and I don't think food is their priority. That being said there was probably a table of 8 in front of us and only two ladies cooking. We watched them make fresh hamburger patties and cook right in front of us. The food was very good and worth the stop. As a bonus they had the Tennessee Vols and LSU game on that was an added bonus being from Tennessee. Hats off, good job.
