Le Glacier Moderne Akwa - Douala

This is the perfect restaurant to experience Cameroonian cuisine. They serve the best ndole I've had. Just a heads up: the wait for food is typically between 40 minutes to an hour, so try to be patient and don't get frustrated if your meal takes a little while to arrive.

Situated in Akwa, right next to Le Glacier Moderne, this restaurant features a small terrace area and a more private dining section. While it might not be the best spot for a quiet evening, it’s perfect for enjoying a meal with 2 to 4 people. During my visit, I noticed that the waitstaff can get overwhelmed during busy evenings. However, you can expect excellent food quality and good value for your money, with moderate price ranges.

The portions at this restaurant are generous, and the food was delicious. However, the service was very slow, which negatively impacted the overall experience.

The place is small but the food is big lol their ndole is something else you can die for it. So delicious I'm craving it as I'm typing...the best cook in douala and very affordable too.
