Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Dothan

Ordered a Banana crunch Flatbread and I had to turn around to brink my sandwich back in because there was barely enough granola in the Flatbread. I told the employee Deanna D that I watched her make it and she didn't give a full cup of granola and she tried to charge me for another Flatbread instead of giving the correct amount and she was very rude. Another employee came up to try to help me with the issue but Deanna lied and told them that nothing was wrong! Horrible customer service experience and I eat here often so I know the amount that I'm supposed to receive. And the music was up way higher than normal.

I love this place, I love the menu, and I especially love the service. I think I've been eating here since high school. Now that they have açai bowl in addition to smoothies and wraps this is a great place to go for a refreshing meal, especially after a long and hot day of yardwork nothing helps me relax life a smoothie or two....or three ??.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu and very colorful insideWheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible

The staff was super friendly. They were pretty slammed the night I went and took about 30minutes from start to finish with my orderIt's usually pretty quick.They were also out of flat bread which was needed for two items I went for. Chose other options and they were still good.Just an off night I guess. Usually pretty chill otherwise.

As much as I understand short staffing, and being busy with little help (I've worked many food places, trust me i get it!!! , but I had the pleasure of seeing an employee getting rude with a couple of customers that had been waiting 40 min 1 hr for a food item, and had asked twice about it, and using a medical reason to excuse the poor service and snippiness. The food and smoothies were good, of course, but, I just had to laugh at how bad the quality of service from this one employee was towards a set of customers that were more than patient.
