Mit Schmackes - Dortmund

We had an evening walk from were we stayed at Ringhotel Drees to Dortmund City center and back and we noticed this place by chance. What attracted us were all the BVB signs and decoration and a laid back feeling. Great atmosphere and very good service. Waitress was nice and friendly and spoke good English. Unfortunately, we arrived too late to be able to order dinner as well, but since we liked it this much, we stayed for drinks.

Must visit!! So profesional.... we come in busy hours- and they gave their best to find us a table. Food is excellent and veeeery big. Excpect good vibes and excellent food great stuff

We met here with a few friends on a saturday evening, a few weeks after the opening. The atmosphere was cosy and the place not overly busy. At 7pm we managed to find a table for 5 without problems. The deco is 'industrial chic ', which I really like: high ceiling, wood and metal. We had a few drinks and 4 of us also ordered food. The menu is interesting, not the usual german grub, although of course Schnitzel is available, and why not, if you really crave it. We ordered a risotto with tempura vegetables, tagliatelle with pesto and cherry tomatoes, a tatar, and a beef salad. The orders didn 't take too long, or at least it didn 't feel like. It was all well presented (except maybe the tatar, which could have have had a bit more in terms of sides, more than one mushroom and the bread that they initially forgot! everything was tasty though, the pasta not overcooked, the tempura veggies maybe not the perfect match for the risotto, but all together we were all quite happy. Service was friendly, and we had a really good night. I would not hesitate to go back (and I don 't care who the place belongs to...

Just everything perfect! Great atmosphere, great equipment with industrial culture charm and many exhibits from Kevin's career. And when you come to the football show, you have a good look at a TV from virtually any place. Well, and as far as the subject is concerned, we have not yet been able to cost everything, but whoever stands on Schnitzel does not come past this store. The Dortmunder Krüstchen is an absolute dream! And the Pommes. And the roast potatoes. And the curry sausage. And... full recommendation!

Right good shop in Dortmund: beautiful, authentic ambience, delicious food and drink at fair prices and very attentive and very friendly staff. It's not better!
