The restaurant had a friendly staff and had a classic old-style pub atmosphere, complete with a meat raffle. The portions were large for the price and the food was of good quality. The Veal Kebab special of the day was exceptional - flavorful, tender, and juicy. It was so filling that most people in the room struggled to finish it. The scallops, fisherman's basket, and burgers were also delicious. The only downside was that the room was really noisy due to all the hard surfaces, and the car park was gravelly and muddy.

This is one of the few authentic Australian pubs remaining in Melbourne. The atmosphere is fantastic, the service is excellent, and they still serve delicious classic pub meals. There is a backyard where kids can play and a small arcade area in the back. The only thing missing is a playground, but the kids are still entertained by watching the trains go by. I highly recommend giving this place a try!

I have been here a numerous amount of times and I have always had a good meal! It can be very busy at times but the wait is never too long. It is definitely worth a try.

Great pub food. Excellent parma and good atmosphere. Nice range of beer on tap is also good to see. Overall, a great dinner.

Best country pub. $9.50 Sunday roast!! Yes that's right. Served with a nice a mount of veggies to make you feel less guilty about eating too much meat. Hubby ate the Donny chicken and it was really amazing. Love the sauce!! The kids had spag bolognaise and the serving was huge. They love it so much that they ate it all up.
