The Newton Arms - Doncaster

Called on a Monday night not the busiest, the staff were very pleasant and enthusiastic about the food. I had cottage pie my wife had chicken, this was very good pub food in a nice atmosphere, the staff raved about Sunday lunch. I will go back

Well what a lovely carvery all round. The staff was lovely and welcoming special mention to Dave who had time for all his customers going the exacta mile and to Kyle the chef (the pie was amazing). But as a whole the place was clean and very modern inside and the food was top quality the meat melted in your mouth by for the best I’ve had in Doncaster in the last year and that’s a bold statement. Will 100% be coming back.

Amazing food, amazing atmosphere, very neat and tidy restaurant, staff were very helpful and lovely little beer garden outside the back with a decent park for the children.

My family and I went out tonight to celebrate my husband's birthday (5.8.23) with a group of 8 adults and three children, and everyone loved our meal. The staff were excellent and we couldn't find any faults. The meal was absolutely fantastic. We will definitely return.

We arrived at 12:15 for our 12:30 reservation, but our food wasn't served until 13:45. We felt this wait was excessive. When we finished our meal, we ordered a pudding (apple pie and custard) that arrived quickly. Overall, we don't think we will return to this restaurant.
