Bidrage med feedbackVery good taste. Service was swift and efficient and very good when it arrived. Cash only at the time which seems now to be unusual.
Went here for my birthday with my wife and adult son. The waiter brought us poppadoms and pickle a tray while we browsed the menu. We then had mixed meat starters. For main I had chicken madras, my wife had garlic prawns and my son chicken tikka masala. We shared a pilau rice, garlic rice and a nan bread between us. All the food was top quality and well presented. This is the best Indian restaurant I have visited for a long time. I will definitely be visiting again. The Nur does not have a licence to sell alcohol, but you are allowed to take your own onto the premises.
Good service , friendly staff , poor lamb, visited tonight with wife and kids , ordered lamb dishes , lamb bad , very bad lamb , wouldn’t recommend the lamb
Decided to try this local restaurant and we were certainly not disappointed. Every dish was cooked to perfection and the flavours were superb. We collected our order which was ready promptly. Thank you for a fantastic meal to celebrate our daughters exam results. We will be back again very soon.
Visited Nur this week, after a great evening there with friends a couple of months ago. However, this time it was a feast night poppadom, pickle tray, starter, main a rice or naan for £12.95), so we thought we'd give it a go. Great service, with a great sense of humour to boot), from the outset again. The chicken was lovely and tender in all the dishes chicken tikka starters, chicken karahi, butter masala), king prawns went down well too. The curry sauces were all amazing. Tried Karahi for a change to the usual madras, which is one of the great aspects of the feast nights it's not a bank breaker if you get something you're not particularly keen on). The Karahi was lovely though. Can certainly recommend the Madras rice, which was packed with chillies The restaurant doesn't have a licence, but you can bring your own alcohol. I'm not a dessert fan, but was a tad jealous when I saw the molten chocolate cake with ice cream. Again, that went down very well. This place can did) get busy, so book early. 3 poppadoms, a pickle tray, 3 chicken tikka starters, a chicken karahi, butter chicken, king prawn korma, 2 garlic naans, 2 rices, a molten chocolate cake with ice-cream for just over £45. Another enjoyable experience from Nur.
