Cafe Express Carcroft - Doncaster

I placed an order for delivery on October 8, 2023, and it took 1 hour and 50 minutes to arrive. Unfortunately, when the food finally came, it was too cold to eat. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I placed another order on November 27, 2023. After waiting 1 hour and 10 minutes, I had to call to inquire about my order. I overheard a conversation in the background where someone mentioned that my food was waiting for the driver. It took another 50 minutes for my food to arrive, again, cold. The bacon sandwiches were cold, and the apple crumble had already started to set, with the crumble forming a solid lid. Attempts to contact the restaurant through phone calls and social media were ignored, and my negative comment on Facebook was deleted. I would not recommend wasting your money on this establishment.

The staff at this restaurant are delightful and welcoming. Despite being busy on a Friday morning, I didn't mind waiting as the bustling atmosphere was a good sign of the place's popularity. The breakfast sandwiches were fantastic, cooked to perfection with delicious sausages. I recently started working in the offices nearby and plan on making this my go-to spot for Friday morning breakfast.

Terrible experience at this restaurant. I ordered a breakfast and a pork and stuffing bap, but the breakfast was terrible. The sausages were bland and low-quality, the fried bread was soggy and greasy. The only decent thing was the eggs. It took almost 2 hours for the order to arrive, and they charged £3.50 for delivery despite being less than half a mile away. The food was overpriced and inedible. I will not be ordering from here again.

My partner and I are new to the area and keep driving past, we decided to pop in and give it a go today and the food was amazing!! The portion sizes are very generous, and make it well worth the money. The lad that served us was very polite and cheery, nothing seemed to be too much of a hassle! We will definitely be coming back again!

Ordered cafe express at 10:20,at 11:55 I rang to see where food was to be told “don’t know it is late” Food finally arrived at 12:15.. Food Luke warm , sausages sour, eggs like rubber (asked for runny), bacon hardly cooked (asked for well done) only half a cup of coffee virtually cold. 3/4 of all food was binned
