I had the worst dining experience in Las Cruces. The carne asada was tough, overcooked, and consisted of what looked like burned scraps of beef. There was hardly any flavor, and the minimal cheese topping didn’t help. The staff seemed more interested in chatting with each other than attending to customers. Our waitress walked by and asked if everything was okay, but she didn’t make eye contact and continued on to socialize with her coworkers. I felt embarrassed suggesting this place to our friends who were visiting. Honestly, Taco Bell is far better than this hole-in-the-wall. On a positive note, there was plenty of parking available.
