Restaurant La Perle

I've been going to this Resto since 2008 and it's still the best Chinese food ever! So much variety and really the best cooked and delicious meals. It's the kind of Resto u just don't get enough! It is our way to cheat night!... And every time our family comes from Ottawa, they want to come here! The family belongs to Resto cares about their food and their reputation and quality has not only improved over the years! I can't explain how much we love this place! Our Fav are the peanut butter, the chicken kewers with peanut butter sauce, the shrimp Canapés, the spring rolls!! The spicy beef sauce, the general dew, the beef in bean sauce, the pan roasted noodles and shrimps in lobster sauce

Previously loved to go there some years back before covid. then the quality and authenticity of the courts began to dispense. just to name a few of my old favorites, the general tao chicken was always crispy with the delicious sauce about it, but it was soggy at the arrival. the hunan dumpling in peanut butter sauce became heavy and diligent, falling as pale in magen. the almond cookies have very little mandel in them. this is just to mention some dishes of many who have lost their glamour. so pay so much more for less quality is painful. Unfortunately we are with la perle as restaurant a cut over the rest at all the price.

This restaurant has not changed in years, decades, even, and this is great! The dumplings, the beef, the family service, everything! It is not elegant or high-end, but it is delicious! Especially good for a larger group.

La Perle gave us dried chicken strips, sponge mushy vegetables, dried pork ribs, when we had about $130.00 for a take-out meal we had ordered. Your answer, when we wanted to complain at 8:00, was: The intake is not as good as...to send in and that we must return 80% of the food to be balanced. So we had to offer our guests and us this terrible dinner, because we had no other food prepared this evening. The attitude and lies were unacceptable. I never promised to go back. I had enjoyed many meals there with family, friends and colleagues. But some good things come to an end.

We go there for special occasions, but one waiter isn’t very nice. He doesn’t look at you, and just makes you feel uncomfortable. But he’s Been there forever. If the food wasn’t so good, I’d never go back...
