Bidrage med feedbackWe were greeted very friendly by the chef chef and shown us the current menu and told a few words about what we can expect underneath. For main course a galette bergere and a galette burger (with steak instead of minced meat). For dessert there was a crepes with ice cream and cream. The food was excellent! And everything under the motto Regional, organic and homemade We also liked the ambience very much and round off the overall picture. The restaurant is highly recommended!

It was a great experience for us to have the menu explained by a Frenchman in the small town and to enjoy the food. Everything was perfect, the ambience, the service and of course the food. We stopped in Dömitz with our boat and were looking for a restaurant. During our walk we stumbled into the restaurant la Taverne. When asked if there was anything to eat, the boss said if you have time, please sit down. No sooner said than done, it would be a very culinary evening with food of the highest standard and beer and wine from France. If it weren't so far away from us, we would easily be regular guests. Only the terrace view of the parking lot isn't quite as nice, but as it got darker it didn't matter.
