Casey's - Dodge City

Here on the way through kansas to view the boot hill museum. had already exchanged my credit card and was in the process of pumping gas when the screen signaled that it received $40 prepaid. I thought that would be irregular, but I had a few passagiere who had just gone into the load and I thought the worst case scenario they decided to throw some money into a cross-country trip (I had already exchanged my card, so I wasn't even sure what was loaded). the last value of my gases was $37.74. After I pumped gas, I know that my passagiere did not have chipped in and I went in to make sure my card was loaded. apparently another customer had thrown money on this pump, but the employees had not waited for it to be open. Instead, they had outweighed my transaction and caused it to pass. I waited about 10 minutes to insist that I used all $40 (I didn't) and demand that I pay the full amount. I'm not much to make a big deal of a few dollars, but this has not been right with me considering that most people would probably have driven off without a second thought. I tell them I'll pay the $37.74, but no more penny, and they finally tell cave I won't argue with them, sir, as if I were inappropriate. whole thing left me a pretty bad taste in the mouth and really made me disappear out of dodge. there are many other options for gas choose others, but these or they insist to waste their time and money.

The store looked orderly and the restroom was clean.

All this hype about this good coffee Casey's has no they stop serving the real coffee at 10 a.m. you have to drink the beans some of us don't like that nasty stuff but we do like coffee

The restaurant was dirty and unkempt. The pumps for drinks weren't working, and they were overflowing. The washrooms were dirty as well. When I saw how dirty the outside was, I didn't even want to go in to use the restroom! I recommend driving a few blocks west to Love's or Kwik Shop instead.

I really enjoy shopping at Casey's. I appreciate the deals they have, and I absolutely love their pizza! Haha!
